On March 10th Alan Merrill did his first solo show in many years in New York City, and it turned into an all star music party! The evening started off with Alan Merrill on acoustic guitar, Dave Glover (Slade / BC Sweet) on bass and Pete Phipps (Gary Glitter Band / XTC / Eurythmics) on drums. Then the show escalated into an electric grande finale all star jam session with Jan Tilley (Ronnie Spector band), Jon Paris (Johnny Winter Group), Kenny Aaronson (Bob Dylan / Stories) and Kirk Yano (Grammy Award winning producer / guitarist) all joining Alan Merrill on stage and lending their considerable talents to the show. - Below are some photos from the evening, courtesy of Johanna D'Arco and Jan Stevenson.
